Objective      To observe the effect of simultaneous correction of nasal bone and nasal septum cartilage on the treatment of traumatic wry nose deformity.        Methods      From June 2008 to March 2012

25 patients with old posttraumatic wry nose deformity were treated under the general anesthesia. The nasal bone was exposed through the transcartilage incision and corrected by lateral nasal osteotomy and central nasal osteotomy. The nasal septum cartilage was exposed through the columella combined with the alar cartilage. The deviated nasal septum cartilage was corrected by release or excision.        Results      The period of follow-up ranged from 3 months to 1 year. The outcome was excellent in 21 patients and good in 4 patients. The nasal deformities were corrected satisfactorily with no complication.        Conclusion      Simultaneous correction of nasal bone and nasal septum cartilage has good effect on old posttraumatic wry nose deformity

and it is worth clinical promotion.
