Relationships among pathological changes, clinical features and CT manifestation of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
clinical features and CT manifestation of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Methods The relationships among histopathologic features of the liver
serum biochemical parameters and other clinical data of 45 NAFLD patients were studied. CT
examinations were performed in 16 patients. Results According to liver fatty degeneration grading
12 cases were classified to F

. The hepatocyte steatosis was correlated to waistline (r=0.357
P=0.028)
waist-to-hip ratio (r=0.463
P=0.001 6)
and total cholesterol (r=0.484
P=0.004). The levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) showed no significant difference among each grade of liver inflammatory activity. The grade of hepatic steatosis was negatively correlated with liver value of CT. The liver-to-spleen ratios were not significantly different among F

. Conclusion In NAFLD patients
with the increment of waistline
waist-to-hip ratio and TC
the steatosis gets worse. The levels of ALT and AST do not parallel with the hepatic steatosis. The degree of steatosis is negatively correlated with the liver value of CT
but the liver-to-spleen ratio does not reflect the grade of the liver degeneration.
